Missions
We want to optimize our process for gypsum fiber board production to avoid production waste and increase efficiency as well as mechanical performance. As a VIE, you can take part of this challenging R&D project with a step-in production reality!The VIE mission will consist in making and analyzing board made at lab scale. Then, based on data analysis, results will be transferred and implemented in the plant also by the VIE in collaboration with the project R&D team. Material collection in the plant, contact with the staff and presentation of the results will be also part of the VIE daily job.
?? Your main role:
Investigations and optimizations of production process for gypsum fiber boards. That will consist in:
- Analyzing existing reports and trial documentation to identify trends.
- Organization, production and analysis of boards at our lab.
- Lab analysis of samples (chemical, optical methods to assess board properties) .
- Attend full scale trial at plant in Bodenwerder.
- Documentation and presentation of results
This is a 12-month mission, extendable once.

Profil recherché
If you recognize yourself in the following, you have to apply now:- Master’s degree in engineering, with a materials science background.
- Ability to work independently (under supervision) .
- Lab work experience, with a hands-on mentality.
- Ready to lift some heavy weight.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken. German basics are very welcome!
