What you will be doing

You will be on a development pathway to guide your growth into the role of Product Safety, Sustainability and Stewardship Officer and can expect to be involved in the following:

• Join a dynamic transnational team engaging truly engaging transversally with all Airbus DS Engineering, Operations and Programs teams to make Airbus DS a safer and more environmentally-friendly place.
• Be at the heart of our mission of pioneering a sustainable aerospace for a safer and united world.
• Engage in ensuring General Product Safety (GPS) of the large portfolio of ADS Products out of Airworthiness, via the GPS certifications and Product Regulatory Compliance (PRC) infrastructure.
• In this contect, actively contribute to Airbus sustainability ambition (called High5+) to reduce its environmental footprint, taking part of one of the main sustainability innovation project of Airbus: 2nd Life platform which supports the circularity ambition of Airbus;
• Promote and implement Airbus DS PRC (covering Safety, Environment, Intellectual Properties, Export Control, etc.) for all AD products via direct support to Project and Product teams)

Your development pathway will include a minimum of one rotational placement to support your growth into position.

At the end of the 2 year development programme you will have developed into the position of Product Safety, Sustainability and Stewardship Officer.

What we look for

To be a successful applicant to the Airbus Global Graduate Programme, you will need to demonstrate you have:

• A degree level or equivalent within a relevant field of study
• Recently graduated or first professional experience in the field of mechanical/ aerospace/ environmental engineering
• Strong verbal and written communication in our business language (English)
• A desire to work in a collaborative team environment, focused on driving future innovation
• The ability to be self aware and a wish to be in the driving seat of your development.

STATEMENT: This position requires a security clearance or will require being eligible for clearance by the recognized authorities.
